• How long does shipping take?

We value your time, and want to get your item to you as fast as possible! All of our items are ready-to-wear and can be shipped immediately. Once payment is received and order confirmed we will process your item within 1 working day (excludes Saturday, Sunday and public holidays). Anyone located in main cities will receive their item the following working day, and more rural regions will take 2-7 working days.

 

  • Why do you need my physical address and telephone number?

Your contact number is captured for shipping purposes only. We use Aramex Express Shipping, who require a person to sign for a delivery, and so need to reach you and cannot deliver to a P.O. Box. Your details will not be sold or used for any purposes other than to fulfill shipping of your item purchased on our website. 

 

  • Can I return or exchange items?

We have a 14 day return policy for items that are unworn and undamaged. Head over to Shipping & Returns for more information.


  • How do I care for my items?

Fine jewellery must be handled with care. Silver and especially gold are very soft metals (compared to other base metals in costume jewellery). Store each item in a protective box. Do not place any heavy items on top and never bunch and throw into a bag to get tangle and messed up. Head to our Quality & Care page for more info.

 

  • Where are you located?

We are based in Randburg Johannesburg, South Africa. Unfortunately we do not have a brick and mortar shop. If you wish to receive more info about an item, please email info@akoya.co.za

 

  • How do I make sure I order the right size?

See the image description to view sizes. Necklace lengths are indicated, as well as pearl diameters and ring sizes. Please measure an item you already own for size reference.
